Comments | Beautiful day to check out Wildcat! This is my first ever visit during the winter. So many times I have driven by on rt. 16, and never got the chance to ski here. Guess today was the day.
Took about every run that was groomed overnight, and more natural trails opened up throughout the day. Polecat, Cheetah, Middle Wildcat, Wild Kitten, and Upper Lynx were all decent in the morning, and only got better as time went on. Cheetah was one of the more consistant runs of the day. Never went too fast, and always had a nice pitch. It got up above freezing by noon, so eventually there were many more natural trails to explore. Upper Wildcat, Top Cat, Starline, Stray-Cat and Alley-Cat were open with thin cover, and were pretty iced. Upper Wildcat I don't think should have been open. Too many rocks.
Temps started out at 28 degrees with clouds, and got up to 35 with some sun rays. Had a wonderful day here today. |
