Comments | Did a two-hour ticket at opening (discounted from $50 to $35 due to early season). Three trails open from the top, each served by their own chairlift (but you can connect to all of them on snow via the top and bottom): Bull Run via the War Dance Triple, Nashoba Slope via the Snowdance Double, and Sundance via the Sundance Double. The various bunny slopes and surface lifts were also open. All three trails skied decently, though there were a few thin spots showing from the holiday thaw. Sundance was probably the thinnest, but fortunately the whole area appears to be pretty well manicured (e.g. smooth grass underneath, rather than rocks and gravel). Looks like they had attempted to start making snow on Nashoba Glades and Chief, but didn't get too far before the thaw. Hopefully they get some cooperative weather soon so that they can build up existing base depths and then expand. Never a lift line or crowded trail. Friendly employees. | |
