Comments | Powder day at Ragged. Closing in on half a foot when we left around 1:30. One to two minute wait for the Six Pack, but Spear Peak was generally ski-on. Spear Peak trails were a little bit choppy in places, as there were a few areas of blue ice visible (wind scoured in places). On the main mountain the lower angle trails were more consistently powder like. Not quite as fluffy as forecast, but hopefully it'll hold. Some scouring up top in the wind. Easy Winder and connected trails were closed. Upper Raggae Glades also closed (maybe some base on skier's left, but vegetation still poking up elsewhere), as was Sweepstakes. Other than those and a few of the short natural steep chutes, everything on the main mountain was open. |
