Comments | Finally got to ski here. Despite being a natural snow ski area, everything was open with plenty of base and not a single thin spot to be found. Temperatures never made it above freezing, so the snow was generally packed powder/loose granular with no boilerplate or ice. Trails are mostly beginner and low intermediate in nature. A couple of fun, narrow trails on skier's right, and some more open slopes on skier's left. Made quite a few runs until the T-Bar broke down around 3:30 (appeared to be a wind-related deropement near the top). No idea if they'll keep operating beyond this weekend due to the COVID-19 coronavirus, but there's certainly plenty of snow remaining. |
