Session | Full Day |
Ticket Type | Complimentary from Third Party |
Lift Lines | 0 minutes |
Trail Conditions | 90% open; Packed Powder, Frozen Granular |
Glades | I don't do those |
Moguls | I blundered onto an ungroomed, very rough but mercifully short mogul patch and didn't like it, although I got through intact. Plenty of others I stayed away from. |
Terrain Park(s) | Also not my thing. |
Run of the Day | Tempest |
Food and Beverage | The breakfast buffet at Camp - the restaurant in the Grand Summit Hotel - costs $24, so we had oatmeal and coffee in our room, which had a small kitchen. |
Comments | As close to perfect as I can imagine - everything nicely groomed with acres of corduroy consisting of packed powder after the recent snow. No crowds or lift lines and a perfect, wind free, cloudless bluebird day. I didn't make it over to Aurora or Jordan, concentrating on the trails on White Cap, Barker and Spruce. If you can manage it, midweek is the time to go |
