Comments CommentsWhat a day!
Winter morning, Spring afternoon. Nice conditions this morning with plenty of corduroy, not a lot of ice. Higher trails were a little scratchy by mid to late afternoon but what can you do. Walking Boss was decently skied off by late afternoon at the top quarter, getting nice again before Haulback joins the trail. Lower Walking Boss stayed nice all day. Flume held on nicely morning to afternoon, Angel Street and Cant Dog were definitely getting pretty well skied off by mid afternoon. Sunset was nice, they groomed out all the bumps and that was the best side to ski on. My favorite combinations were Sunset, Upper Speakeasy, Rampasture down to the gondola, and Haulback to Lower Walking Boss. There is a sneaky little summit loopdyloo before joining Exodus and the official Summit Loop trail that was a nice getaway. Also enjoyed Dropline even thought I think it is designed more for learning to edge it was fun to zip through.

Upper Picked Rock lost some snow, showing some decent ice.

Kanc Quad was closed for the season along with most of that complex. Rampasture, Blue Ox, and Picked Rock were still open and emptied out to the gondola. That part was mushy by the end of the day.

Never overcrowded, great snow all day.
