Comments CommentsBusiest day I've skied at Burke with lines for the Mid Burke Quad 5 or more minutes long from 10 AM through 3 PM. The new T-Bar only ran for the first hour or so of the day, allegedly for racers and families only (though we were able to take a ride), then closed as lines grew on the quad. Would have been nice to have that as an option today!

Nearly everything was open, with the exception of lower Rerun and the short chute adjacent to Open Slope.

The wide groomers were loose granular with increasing boilerplate as the day progressed. The narrower (road) groomers held up decently. The natural snow sections on the west side were a bit rough, while the natural snow trails on the east side were generally wall to wall coverage.

A few chokepoints showing up on natural trails (Upper Bear Den sneaks up on you; one straightaway on East Bowl where you'd otherwise be gaining speed; the lip at the top of Little Dipper).

Despite the lines, still managed 31K vertical. Decent partly sunny weather. Temps did not get warm enough to create spring snow today.
