Comments CommentsBlue bird skies and sunshine. Windy in the morning, and some time after lunch but thankfully it died down for the rest of the afternoon. Unfortunately the wind resulted in holds on Timberline and King Pine lifts for the day. Skyline was on hold for a short while, but they ran the T-bar which was a fun ride. Skyline operated about a half hour later. Even with the King Pine lift closed we still managed to ski just about everything it services. A handful of the runs were followed by the long, flat beginner complex to get back to the Whiffletree chair and SuperQuad. The upper mountain was closed all day, so unfortunately we missed out on the tip tops of those trails but could at least connect to the majority of them by the Spillway trail. Edged onto the Narrow Gauge Ext as high up as I could coming off the Skyline chair to say I had skied the upper mountain trail haha. A super bummed those trails were closed. Flume was ungroomed but an excellent time!

Some work could be seen being done on the East Doublerunner chair in the afternoon, not sure if it ran earlier in the day. Either way it was a fantastic day to be out, the conditions were really good! Views of Saddleback, Crockers, and Bigelows were awesome. Even Katahdin could be seen in the distance.
