Glades | REALLY great!!!! I finally got to ride in the Y.O.O.Y.M. - I thought - what the hell is that mountain bike ramp doing in here - ???? Then I saw a kid send it successfully. Holy smokes!!!! Got first tracks in Kraken - wow that's a challenging glade - snow was SO freaking DEEP!!!! Made it challenging to turn - good problem to have, right???? :) |

Comments | I've only been here at night twice, so, never got to try the fun stuff!!!!! WHAT A FREAKING TREAT!!!!! Glad they give a discount to Ragged (and some other) season pass holders - wasn't that far from Ragged and worth the drive. How often do you get natural snow that deep and that fun???????? I did have some difficulty riding Fluke as the trail was really not steep enough to get the board on plane with the deep snow. Upper Whaletail & Lower Whaletail were super-fun to ride - nice and twisty (groomed). Didn't go down the face (this time) but did do Blow Hole - some really big moguls forming there. Stayed for about 2 hours and had to get home..... super great time!!!! |
