Comments CommentsBerkshire East made a good recovery from Monday's monsoon and now has top to bottom skiing for all abilities.

Upper Chief was decent; lower Chief and Lower Mohawk had some boilerplate and golf balls from last night's snowmaking (SMI stick guns make wetter snow).

Upper Competition skied nicely on fresh fan gun snow. The top is much wider now and has been regraded. Lower Competition also skied well.

Outback was in good shape, as was Exhibition (nice fresh fan gun snow). Deer Run was also open from the top of the West Quad to Lower Mohawk. War Dance was being pushed out and could open soon.

The new high speed quad was running for employees/friends/family has they made final preparations. It will open tomorrow. It changes the way the mountain skis and will make midweek skiing awesome once snowmaking temperatures return and they open the rest of the terrain.

Sunny morning giving way to afternoon clouds. A few minute lift lines on the Summit Quad as waves of race training and ski school groups came through, but the trails were not too crowded.
